“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves” – Carl Jung

One very important way to know yourself is through paying attention to what irritates you about those around you.

(I know I have very little patience with people who like to give excuses when things don’t go as planned. Guess what, I find myself creating excuses and sabotaging my progress, because I find it hard to see where I am causing my own problems).

What are you seeing in others?
What does that tell you about yourself?

What a great way to make progress in our lives!

Maybe what we thought we didn’t like about others can become a wonderful tool for our own improvement, and also a great way to develop some compassion towards those pointing it out to us.
